About Us
PNSO provides programmatic, operational, and institutional stewardship and oversight of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in support of the Department’s Science and Technology programs, goals, and objectives of which the PNNL plays a role. 

We provide excellence in Laboratory contract administration through effective management systems and act as the agent for the DOE Office of Science and other Federal organizations, which utilize the Laboratory.

We enable contractor success through the use of a performance based contract vehicle, managed to commercial standards, and administered through strategic partnerships with the contractor, delivering optimal Laboratory success into the future. We work together with the Office of Science to create an environment where the best science in the world is performed safely.
